The Environmental Working Group (EWG) has just launched EWG VERIFIED®: Mattresses, which makes shopping for a healthier and certified non-toxic mattress for your little one a lot easier. We're proud to share that Lullaby Earth is one of the very FIRST mattress brands to meet EWG’s stringent criteria and earn the EWG VERIFIED mark.

The Environmental Working Group is essentially a consumer compass when it comes to leading a healthier lifestyle on a happier planet, and they’re here to help you.

Any product with an EWG VERIFIED mark meets EWG’s strict standards to ensure it is made without EWG’s list of chemicals of concern that could harm your health. The mark also vets manufactures for being fully transparent about what ingredients they use. As of last month, this mark can now be found on mattresses, too. And even better? You can find it on OUR mattresses!

Because babies spend up to 16 hours a day on their crib mattress, a non-toxic nursery is a non-negotiable. (And, we want to ensure that our kiddo’s big-kid mattresses are safer and healthier for them, too!)

EWG VERIFIED mattresses meet the strictest standards when it comes to harmful or questionable materials including:

• Irritants
• Carcinogens
• Endocrine disruptors
• Environmental pollutants
• Pesticides
• And more!

These standards were set by engineers, toxicologists and scientists who know chemicals and their effects on health and the environment best. Our mattresses have undergone rigorous technical reviews for 13 heavy metals, 20 phthalates, over 100 pesticides and more in order to meet these standards. And, we proved that we do not contain ANY of these harmful materials!

Beyond chemicals, EWG vets products for ingredient transparency – including transparency about latex as a potential allergen (which is why you’ll never see it in a Lullaby Earth mattress!) – and responsible manufacturing as well. And Lullaby Earth passed with flying colors.
